摘要: Abstract Energy security is important for islands not connected to mainland electricity grids. The Aegean archipelago comprises scattered islands, whose supply relies on oil-based thermal power plants. These attract large numbers of tourists, while the an environmentally sensitive area. Efficient maritime transportation crude oil critical maintaining adequate in especially during tourist seasons. Tanker closed-sea shipping operations Sea raise considerations carbon footprint impacts. Also, despite potential impacts local economies and environment, case a accident leading spill largely overlooked. We investigate possible integration environmental related objectives, decision-making process planning efficient service archipelago. showcase risk mitigation strategy transport route considering spill-related local, tourism dependent under more socially conscious policy framework. model problem as multi-objective capacitated vehicle routing solve it using alternating objective genetic algorithm. Results show that certain routes are considered optimal both reduction may be achieved at small operational cost increase.
