摘要: Abstract The United Nations Environment Programme/Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (UNEP/SETAC) Life Cycle Initiative organized two consensus-building workshops regarding Assessment (LCA) models indicators for land use impacts on biodiversity. This article presents a synthesis the main recommendations drawn from opinions experts present, Initiative's perspective. needs LCA practitioners are crucial to determine what characteristics biodiversity assessment should possess. Available mainly apt impact hotspot detection in supply chains. If goal is assess plot-level management practices they be accompanied by other more detailed tools beyond LCA. Site-specific data necessary accurately loss at regional local scale, despite known constraints imposed life cycle inventories. Examples datasets provided this article. Species richness promising start these but it must complemented with metrics habitat configuration intensity-based indicators. Finally, modelling results better coupled policy decisions existing strategic plans.
