摘要: To estimate the costs of palliative care for colorectal cancer (CRC) from perspective German statutory health insurance and to measure patients’ quality life (QoL) a 2-year time period. A prospective observational multicentre study was carried out direct over Case report forms, medical records, claims data were all applied document resource usage in real-world settings. QoL measured by using Short Form-12 Health Survey. In total 101 patients (mean age 67.09 ± 11.13 years, 68 % male) 12 different settings included. Increased efforts promoting effective efficient options, or performance-based medication reimbursement schemes, might helpful reducing costs.
