摘要: The photocatalytic degradation of a cationic dye, rhodamine 6G (Rh-6G) under UV light irradiation was carried out. Rh-6G completely decolorized in 180 min photo-oxidative period. extent confirmed performing total organic carbon (TOC) analysis, and up to 90.14%, TOC removal achieved. Several critical analytical techniques including UV-Vis spectroscopy, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), ultra-performance coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (UPLC/MS) were employed scrutinize the mechanistic insights dye photodegradation. degraded N-demethylation intermediates several small molecular products qualitatively identified, tentative photodegradation pathway proposed. Toxicological evaluation out three types cell lines (MTT assay) Triticum sativum seeds. In conclusion, enhanced biodegradability accompanied by toxicity reduction promising efficiency photocatalysis for therefore could be used remediation textile effluents.
