The re-emergence of self-managed co-housing in Europe: A critical review of co-housing research

摘要: This article reviews a decade of co-housing studies and publications, to identify major themes research gaps. Generally, is seen as promising model for urban development, most empirical case report active diverse communities, creating maintaining affordable living environments. However, numbers are small there yet no quantitative evidence substantiate the claims. Nevertheless, important lessons can be drawn from an integrated practice meet today’s societal environmental challenges. Rather than its utopian ambitions, frictions with current institutional frameworks point way transform these into more adequate agents development.
