摘要: Leukemic transformation or myelofibrosis is a major concern in managing patients with chronic myeloproliferative disorders, including essential thrombocythemia (ET). We analyze the relationship between cytogenetic changes and 89 ET; 8 experienced transformation, 2 acute leukemia following myelofibrosis, 3 leukemia, myelofibrosis. Among eight showing two developing derived from group normal cytogenetics, but remaining six were categorized as de novo appearance of changes. Two had at time diagnosis, whereas showed der(1;7) during their period. Moreover, did not receive any cytotoxic agents before der(1;7), indicating that detection may have predictive value for only leukemic also unfavorable prognosis.
