摘要: Mineral composition (Ca, Na, Cu, and Zn) of different forages soils in five agricultural local pastures the Punjab, Pakistan were studied. They designated as pastures, feeding sites situated at a distance 5 km, exhibiting varied vegetation. Grazing animals followed, corresponding to those consumed by them, soil samples collected during winter summer seasons analyzed for mineral composition. Most forage well their not sufficient most minerals. Some low levels Zn found two seasons. Winter season Ca Cu concentrations significantly higher (p<0.05) than season; perhaps owing leaching all summer. had very marginal concentrations, below critical known be adequate normal ruminant requirements. Forage Ca, increased (p<0.05), generally, with plant maturity from winter. ruminants might possibly deficient minerals these grazing are providing livestock therein. Supplementation is urgent need prevent deficiency diseases due imbalances.
