摘要: Endogenous phosphorus (P) release from sediments is an important factor to cause eutrophication and, hence, algal bloom in lakes China. Algal decomposition depletes dissolved oxygen (DO) and causes anaerobic conditions therefore increases P sediments. As sediment dependent on the iron (Fe) cycle, electron acceptors (e.g., NO3 (-), SO4 (2-), Mn(4+)) can be utilized suppress reduction of Fe(3+) under as such, have potential impair P. Here, we used a laboratory experiment test effects FeCl3, MnO2, KNO3 soluble reactive (SRP) concentration related chemical variables overlying water column during at different densities. Results showed that significantly depleted DO thereby increased Fe-bound release. Compared with control, addition FeCl3 decreased SRP through inhibiting MnO2 has less decomposition. for (-) removal aquatic ecosystem denitrification by alleviates suppressing role Our results indicated could efficient reducing decomposition, strongest effect found FeCl3; large amounts were removed Moreover, increasing density.
