摘要: Chemical analysis of calcified skeletons has expanded rapidly during the past twenty-five years, undoubtedly because advances in general field geochemistry and development more precise analytical techniques. This review following discussion are confined to that part subject is direct importance geologists biologists various disciplines. The composition sediments accumulated on ocean bottom physicochemical processes operational largely controlled by activities marine biomass. Biogenic constitute a substantial portion total volume recent sediments; this fact stresses role played biochemical mechanisms sediment generation.
