摘要: Eicosanoids are lipid mediators derived from the metabolism of arachidonic acid. These agents locally released and activate different cell membrane receptors, latter part G-protein coupled receptor family. While activation eicosanoid receptors is associated with a wide variety actions, there limited information concerning structural components receptors. To date, our understanding ligand-receptor binding interaction has been based on rhodopsin template model. in same family do share common architecture, amino acid residues pocket that play key role ligand recognition as well diversity observed cellular signaling. In order to understand interaction, attention must be focused both nature endogenous ligands model proposed. The data chemical alterations ligands, together mutagenesis studies involving modifications have suggested working However, also document various nuances structure number differences will require further investigation.
