摘要: Abstract Bacteremia is a serious problem of public health that caused by bacteria in the blood and their components, this way, total asepsis critic aspect different stages transfusion medicine use biomedical devices contact with tissues blood. The aim study to advance development new pathogen-inactivation technique surface-contact based on making plasticized PVC bags antibacterial properties. For that, films were chemically modified nucleophilic substitution quaternization amino groups using dimethylamine 1-bromoethane, respectively. Films characterized infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, thermogravimetric analysis elemental analysis; addition, properties against Gram-positive Gram-negative (S. aureus E. coli, respectively), hemolytic activity surface adsorption blood-components evaluated. Results shown cationic PVC, ∼15% quaternary ammonium groups, has (hemolysis ∼7%), but also, affinity was increased comparison PVC. Our results evidenced can be obtained procedure performed, being promissory alternative for capacity situ surface-contact.
