摘要: Bench-scale soil column experiments were conducted to study the effectiveness of Cr(VI) containment in confined aquifers using situ bio-transformation. Batch adsorption studies carried out estimate capacities two different soils for and Cr(III). Bio-kinetic parameters evaluated enriched microbial system. The inhibition constant, Monod's model, was found be 11.46 mg/L Cr(VI). Transport indicated that it would not possible contain by alone. bio-transformation pore velocity initial bio-mass concentration significantly affect process. In bio-remediation is effective case silty aquifers. 25 effectively contained within 60 cm a aquifer. could achieved sandy when very low augmented high. A bio-barrier approximately one meter width able if as much mg/L.
