摘要: A collision detection method and apparatus is disclosed for detecting code rule violations in Manchester encoded data packets. The signals δ.sub.0 =S.sub.2n -S.sub.2n-1 δ.sub.1 =S.sub.2n+1 -S.sub.2n δ.sub.2 σ.sub.0 +S.sub.2n-1. are determined at time nT where S 2n-1 2n the bit pair representative of nth a stream having period T. Processing these permits most collisions since coding rules violated more than half signal formed by colliding To ensure 100% detection, preamble using an intentional violation pattern 10 11 01 advantageously used each packet signaled upon two or violations.
