摘要: Purpose. To investigate differences in the biological features of most immunoexpressed prostate cancer (PC) profiles (PSA+, PSMA+) according to RKIP. Methods. 19 PC with dominant Gleason grade ≥8 were studied. Expression PSA, PSMA, RKIP, Raf-1, MEK-1, ERK-1, ERK-2, p-Akt (T308), (S473), NF-κB p50, and NF-κBp65 detected immunohistochemically. Results. Loss RKIP profile was associated increased levels PSA PSMA expression. Intensities immunoreactions higher cells negative for (12.51 ± 1.6 34.95 1.92) compared those positive (4.68 1.11 28.56 0.91). In parallel, missing expression patients PSA+, PSMA+ connected components both Raf-1/MEK/ERK (p65/p50), whereas Akt is activated independently Conclusions. Although characterized by same profile, phenotype related invasive potential greater aggressiveness reflected overexpression (p65/p50) which Taking into account phenotypes among PSA-PSMA may improve distinguishing them from cancers that will become more aggressive therefore adapt therapeutic strategies patients.
