摘要: Abstract The present paper reviews the roles of endothelin (ET) in rat submandibular gland (SMG). ET and its mRNA are expressed granular convoluted tubule (GCT) segment by immunostaining situ hybridization, respectively. is synthesized cells GCT segment, stored secretory granules, secreted into oral cavity. It well known that SMG mice rats express many kinds growth factor such as epidermal nerve factor. These factors discharged saliva thought to regulate oral-esophageal gastrointestinal mucosa. acts a potent vasoconstrictor with mitogenic property excreted from Weibel-Palade bodies vascular endothelial cells. salivary origin may own functions noted origin. This review deals comparative discussion other factors, which originate segments rodents.
