Tunable terahertz omnidirectional photonic gap in one dimensional graphene-based photonic crystals

摘要: In this article, we propose a new design of one-dimensional graphene-based photonic crystal (GPC). The first layer the unit cell GPC consists dielectric wherein graphene sheets are embedded and second is medium. transmission properties investigated using transfer matrix method. Numerical calculations transmittance show that suggested structure possesses type band gap in THz region robust for both transverse electric magnetic polarizations. addition, demonstrated independent incidence angle. Moreover, width can be tuned by sheets. proposed works as perfect stop filter, which completely blocks polarizations, may have many other potential applications.
