摘要: Abstract Lateral flow (LF) tests are frequently used for rapid delivery of qualitative diagnostic results. The detection sensitivity these immunochromatography assays is largely dependent on the reporter technology. Many LF utilize reporters suitable a visual interpretation test, implying less-sensitive than fluorescent reporter-based technologies that require strip readers to determine test result. Here we describe implementation an unconventional and ultrasensitive technology: upconverting phosphor particles. particles excited with low energy 980 nm near infrared light emit higher visible that, similar other labels, allows quantitative analysis Detailed procedures regarding production, bioconjugation actual assay described. result UCP-LF determined dedicated software, including lightweight portable reader.
