摘要: This chapter concerns the integration of liner container shipping and short sea service (cabotage) in Brazil. The methodology is based on a linear programming model, which maximizes gross contribution margin evaluates consequences mixing international domestic loads. Firstly, text presents an overview Brazilian cabotage. Then problem model are presented. method applied to real case, where through sensitivity analysis, impacts performance company measured. Thus, different scenarios compared using set key indicators. results show that this quite attractive, they also provide with solid background support strategic operational decisions.
