摘要: The electromagnetic compatibility of Pulsed Plasma Thrusters (PPTs) with spacecraft is examined from the perspective historical experience, data and analytical considerations. References for every major PPT program, including 12 flights PPTs, are given. A complete review interference (EMI) measurements experience PPTs over past 40 years, Earth Orbiter-1 Dawgstar presented. In order to organize critically evaluate risk interaction, a taxonomy proposed in which potential interactions divided into radiated, conducted, plasma-mediated mechanisms further categorized according origin. Discussion analysis existing given put limits on interaction future flights. significant radiated electric fields linked discharge initiation process, rather than main discharge. addition, strength scales strongly breakdown voltage, peak current or pulse energy.
