摘要: Five sequential enzymes leading to the formation of uridine-59-phosphate were studied in acetophenylhydrazine-induced reticulocytes rabbit. All these enzymes—aspartate carbamyltransferase, dihydroorotase, dihydroorotic dehydrogenase, orotidylic pyrophosphorylase, and decarboxylase—decreased markedly activity during vivo maturation aging reticulocytes. In analogy previous studies on purine nucleotide biosynthesis, it is concluded that reticulocyte, but not mature erythrocyte, capable de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis.
