摘要: The genetic population structure of hooded seal, Cystophora cristata, was examined by electrophoretic analysis allozymes and with multilocus DNA fingerprinting. Samples were collected in the Jan Mayen area off Newfoundland. Allele products resolved isoelectric focusing. Only five 32 protein-coding loci investigated polymorphic at 95% level. proportion estimated to P = 0.233, average heterozygosity H 0.047. Tissue distribution, genotype approximate pI (4 degrees C) proteins are reported. allele frequencies AAT-2, GPD-2, GPI-1 loci, used comparisons samples from two stocks. Chi-square G-tests showed no significant difference among groups. Highly variable profiles HaeIII, HinfI MboI digested genomic revealed using human minisatellites 33.15 33.6 (HinfI digests only) as hybridization probes. Comparisons band-sharing coefficients digest carried out. We unable detect differences between Newfoundland area. hypothesis that there is a considerable degree intermixing stocks cannot be rejected.
