摘要: In recent years, evidence has emerged for a bidirectional relationship between sleep and neurological psychiatric disorders. First, sleep-wake disorders (SWDs) are very common may be the first/main manifestation of underlying Secondly, SWDs represent an independent risk factor neuropsychiatric morbidities. Thirdly, function (SWF) influence course outcome This review summarizes most important research clinical findings in fields circadian medicine, discusses promise they bear next decade. The herein summarize discussions conducted workshop with 26 European experts these fields, formulate specific future priorities practice translational research. More generally, conclusion emerging from this is recognition tremendous opportunity offered by our knowledge SWF that unfortunately not yet entered as key practice, particularly Europe. Strengthening pre-graduate postgraduate teaching, creating academic multidisciplinary centres simplifying diagnostic approaches coupled targeted treatment strategies yield enormous benefits diseases.
