摘要: The concentration of short branched-chain fatty acids, specifically 4-methyloctanoic acid (MOA) and 4-methylnonanoic (MNA), in subcutaneous fat were determined five genotypes (Poll Dorset × Border Leicester Merino, Poll muscling Merino Merino) Australian sheep. In total, 264 ewes wethers, either 8 or 22 months age, selected for genotype, age gender. These animals sired by 16 rams that growth based on estimated breeding values (EBVs), except one group Merino), which was EBVs. There a strong relationship between the MOA MNA at age. no differences lambs growth. 8- 22-month-old sheep had higher levels compared with other (P < 0.001). At wethers 0.001) than same genotype. lean percentage ewes. Effects sire, dam slaughter day (at age) also found. results suggest there is good feasibility selection against risk possessing acids.
