摘要: Brazil is a country rich in biodiversity, endemism, and cultural diversity, inhabited by different types of population. This study comprises bibliographical survey historic books found Sao Paulo libraries (16th through 19th centuries) exerting effects central nervous system (CNS). Thirty-four native were selected from reading books. Of these 34 plants, 13 also recorded ethnopharmacological studies among modern communities 16 have been studied phytochemically.
