摘要: Posterolateral corner (PLC) injuries of the knee are usually high energy injuries. Excellent knowledge anatomy and kinematics is mandatory for a successful outcome. Isolated grade 3 combined PLC should be treated surgically. All components instability corrected in same setting as staged surgery largely unsuccessful. Elective first weeks after acute injury advisable. The cruciate ligaments reconstructed, followed by primary repair three main stabilizers; lateral collateral ligament, popliteus, popliteofibular ligament if tissues good quality. Primary reconstruction an option these damaged irreparably. Allografts attractive alternatives to autografts. Recently described anatomical reconstructions offer best result chronic cases. Extremity malalignment before any reconstructive setting. Rehabilitation conservative patient-specific.
