摘要: Publisher Summary Divergent selection for adult residual feed intake, the R' criterion, had been undertaken in a Rhode Island population since 1976. The direct and correlated responses obtained after seven generations two lines R− R+ already presented. At that time, females tended to be lighter than females, while reverse tendency appeared males. Moreover, proportion of abdominal fat higher dams seventh generation, although sample hens did not show any difference among body weight. This chapter also focuses on describing growth composition young chickens from both lines.
