摘要: The last decade has seen a rapid rise in the number of bikeshare programs, where bikes are made available throughout community on an as-needed basis. Given that many these programs at least partially publicly funded, central concern operators and investors is whether systems operate equitably. Though spatial equity been well-studied under docked model, picked up dropped off prespecified docking stations, there little work examining increasingly popular dockless can be from anywhere within operating area. We explore comparative access to services two models by collecting data 45,935 73 using novel querying approach (with generalizable freely source code), joining this with newly-available sociodemographic census tract level. Using Poisson count regression, we perform first analysis approaches, finding more equitably than education, but do not differ socioeconomic class.
