摘要: The requirement of significant off-chip fluid manipulation using high-cost mechanical components has resulted in design limitations microfluidic devices. We report the use novel stimuli responsive polymer gel materials for a variety bio-inspired processes to achieve in-situ flow control providing low-cost alternatives current technologies. These integrated result active channels that provide highly simplified, non-contact fluidic such as valving, mixing and channel sealing. potentially allow creation complex arrangements with advanced on single or disposable platforms are not presently achievable
