摘要: We have tried an electron-beam welding of a Zr-based bulk metallic glass plate to polycrystalline Zr metal one for 41 Ti 14 Cu 12 Ni 10 Be 23 (at%) having excellent forming ability. succeeded in butt-welding the and pure plates with thickness 3 mm. Invisible defect or clack was detected around bead heat-affected zone. The interface kept amorphous state. Formation any crystalline phases except hcp-Zr not interface. successfully welded sample exhibited enough toughness joining strength endure bending through 90 degrees by hammering.
