摘要: As an integral part of the organization knowledge and discipline development, climatic classification has a long history. Earliest classifications were based upon single variable, often day-length. Increased availability data in late 19th century permitted more quantitative approaches use than one variable. Vegetation distribution strongly influenced system with that devised by Koppen proving most durable. Formulation indices development applied empiric approach moisture-balance concept.
