摘要: Cellular therapy utilizing adult mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (MSCs) may very well revolutionize the treatment of a variety head and neck diseases through restoration normal structure function. Transplanting allogeneic or autologous MSCs into damaged tissues can serve multiple regenerative functions their self-renewal, differentiation capacity, immune modulation secretion bioactive molecules. Further, trophic factors expressed by have been shown to influence microenvironment promotion extracellular matrix remodeling, angiogenesis wound healing needed regenerate replace injured tissues. Although clinical applications MSC based therapies in Otolaryngology-Head Neck Surgery are still infancy, efforts being made understand exploit for tissue repair as engineering strategies. In this review, we highlight pre investigations employing reconstruction bone, cartilage, soft vocal fold defects.
