摘要: Abstract Novel ZnS-ZnO composites were synthesized by the solvothermal method from partial sulfidation of ZnO using thiourea at low temperatures. The materials active for photocatalytic production H2 with and without presence sacrificial agent addition a co-catalyst; in present paper, methanol was evaluated as agent, increasing amount produced up to five times compared most photocatalyst agent. All characterized XRD, N2 Physisorption, FT-IR, XPS, Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy, HR-TEM. In addition, photo-electrochemical techniques explain behavior. material composite an atomic ratio S/Zn = 0.71 100 °C, producing 247 μmol H2 h−1 g−1, rate improved improvement activity attributed formation heterojunction interface formed between ZnS, promoting higher electron transfer conduction band lower charge resistance catalyst surface solution reaction.
