Platinum(II) Alkynyl Complexes Containing N- and S-Propargylated Ligands: Synthesis, Structures and Formation of PtII/AgI Coordination Compounds

摘要: Alkylation of 2-hydroxypyridine, 2-pyridinethiol, 2-hydroxy-4-methylquinoline, phthalimide and pyrazole with propargyl bromide gave a series alkynes in high yield. These were reacted the chloroplatinum(II) compounds trans-[PtCl2(PPh3)2] cis-[PtCl2(dppe)] to afford respective trans- cis-bis(alkynyl)platinum(II) complexes, which characterised by spectroscopic analysis X-ray diffraction. The platinum(II) complexes containing thiopyridyl- pyrazolyl-substituted react 1 or 2 equiv. [Ag(NO3)(PPh3)] give dimetallic PtII/AgI complexes.(© Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
