摘要: Ultrasonic measurements, though less direct than those of higher frequency techniques, offer several advantages for the study point defects in dilute metallic alloys. Large effects are often detected only a few ppm defect concentration where defect-defect interactions may be safely neglected. In addition, produced within single crystal host, ultrasonic polarization dependence response can exploited order to answer questions concerning symmety and, as we will see, its kinetics.
