摘要: Animal joints are extremely resistant to wear from rubbing. Such articulations, oscillated under maximal loads, show themselves be almost completely free (10). Joints have a coefficient of friction approximating 0.001, an low frictional resistance by engineering standards. high loads lubricated fluid film composed the joint lubricant (synovial fluid) and small amounts cartilagenous interstitial which is squeezed out cartilage compression (5), preferentially into areas peripheral zone impending contact (11). The “self pressurized” lubrication, being hydrostatic, will increase its efficiency as pressure increases (9). Articular not very permeable. bony plate upon it rests relatively impervious. Thus cartilage, compression, tends lose toward surface. compressibility elasticity articular creates squeeze film. In presence water friction.
