摘要: A rainwater utilization facility consists of its catchment area, treatment facility, storage tank, supplyfacility and pipes in general. The tank which occupies the largest area hasbeen usually considered quantitatively for determining capacity. Hence, there is littleinformation on water quality improvement by sedimentation a operation. In this study, we measured operation during latespring summer, showed turbidity removal 25~46% bysedimentation under fixed level without inflow outflow after runoffceased.It necessary to have considerable distance between inlet outlet and, if possible,it recommended that design should allow an effective depth over 3 m supplyrainwater near surface. method increases retention time stoppingrainwater supply insuring low when runoff high. Andalso more efficient maintenance expected through thetailored considering particle behavior.
