摘要: Diabet. Med. 27, 1304–1307 (2010) Abstract Aims  To establish a method to assess amputation incidence that addresses the problems matching numerator with an appropriate denominator in London and demonstrate low associated activity of our multidisciplinary diabetic foot clinic. Methods  Hospital-coded inpatient data was examined derive numerator: number non-traumatic amputations performed on subjects diabetes each financial year where Primary Care Trust commissioner code main local Trust. Denominators were derived from Trust’s Quality Outcomes Framework sets. Not all receive care at hospital, so denominators corrected for hospital’s percentage market share provision year, Dr Foster database. Results  Between April 2004 2009, 44 underwent 34 minor 10 major hospital. Although populations without increased, decreased, overall decreased. The mean annual minor, total over five years 14.7, 4.2 18.9 per 10 000 diabetes, respectively, 3.9, 1.1 5.0 100 000 general population, respectively. Conclusions  We report first time population. Acknowledging limitations accurately defining London, we clinic.
