Constraints on γ-CDM interactions matching the Planck data precision

摘要: The Planck experiment has measured the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) angular spectrum with unprecedented accuracy, and these results are likely to remain state-of-the art for a decade or more. Since measurements going be used forecast Euclid's ability test alternative dark matter models, we aim set final CMB constraint on cross section of matter-photon scattering in early universe. As formalism not been published literature yet, present key steps derive full linearized Einstein Boltzmann equations elucidate necessary modifications line sight tight coupling approximation. These approximation schemes commonly codes reduce computational costs, but regime neglected previous works related interactions. Our computations account sound speed, which was work. We find that its effect is negligible spectra fairly important linear power spectrum. then analyse data, without 2015 polarisation data at high multipoles. In both cases our ratio elastic mass becomes more stringent respect constraints. change about 35% when dataset added (which includes E-mode multipoles lensing potential spectrum) 20%. only low temperature most conservative limit reads as σDM−γ ≤ 2.25× 10−6 σTh(mDM/GeV) 95% confidence. do expect this by adding recently SPT data.
