摘要: Despite remarkable progress in surgical, cardiopulmonary bypass and anaesthetic techniques during the last three decades, brain damage remains an important complication of adult cardiac surgery. Effective protection strategies are already implemented today, but ongoing research is needed to meet challenges faced operating on increasingly old disabled patients. The incidence injury may be reduced by modifying surgical procedure according carotid duplex scanning epiaortic echocardiography, using reduce microembolization optimizing patient temperature after Increased knowledge will aid choosing best or combination procedures each case ensure that risks do not outweigh benefits.
