摘要: Arylenevinylene-based π-conjugated polymers containing imidazolium cationic units in the main chain and their model compounds were synthesized characterized terms of optical electrochemical properties. 9,9-Bisoctylfluorene, 2,5-bisdodecyloxybenzene, 3-dodecylthiophene introduced as arylene with different donor characteristics to evaluate effect on highest occupied molecular orbital-lowest unoccupied orbital (HOMO-LUMO) gap energy. The UV―vis fluorescence spectra iodide counter anion exhibited a significant blue shift respect parent neutral molecules. X-ray single crystal analysis for revealed that effective π-conjugation length decreased compared by means twisted conformation directed CH-π interactions between N-methyl groups neighboring aryl units. cyclic voltammetry measurement suggested negative LUMO levels conversion imidazole imidazolium, indicating electron-accepting unit.
