摘要: Abstract Fracture behavior of pipes with local wall thinning is very important for the integrity nuclear power plant. Then we studied fracture straight pipe and elbow thinning. For pipe, failure mode, limit load allowable based on plastic deformation ability have been systematically. Twenty two specimens were tested. The mode was divided into four types; cracking, buckling, ovalization collapse (ovalization+buckling). Maximum successfully evaluated using section modulus modified flow stress, in dependent to mode. elbow, low cycle fatigue by reversed loading tested ten specimens. Observed modes buckling under monotonic loading, cracking cyclic especially promoted crack initiation. Test results compared ASME design curve will be discussed.
