摘要: Of 168 consecutive knees (118 patients) that had been treated with an arthroplasty use of a kinematic total condylar prosthesis allowed retention the posterior cruciate ligament, 119 (eighty-four were available for review at mean 10.0 +/- 0.7 years after operation. The Hospital Special Surgery knee score improved significantly, from 55 12 points preoperatively to 81 9 ten (p < 0.0001). Radiolucent lines about patellar component, present in thirty-five eighty-three latest follow-up examination, related malpositioning tibial and femoral components. Six revisions performed, four them loose component. rate deep infection was 1 per cent (one knee). Complications occurred twenty-six (22 cent). With revision as end point, survival prostheses estimated be 96 years. scores, implants, range motion current study similar those reported previously patients who insertion sacrifice ligament substitution stabilized prosthesis. A has metal-backed component allows preservation provides durable results, but loosening remains major problem.
