摘要: In this paper, a series of nanostructured CeO2 spheres with two different dopants, Co2+ and Ni2+, were synthesized by one-step hydrothermal synthesis free from the template-assisted calcination, characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning (SEM), high resolution (HRTEM), Raman spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) nitrogen adsorption–desorption measurements. The formation process produced involved Ostwald ripening, secondary nucleation oriented attachment. Both presence Co2+, Ni2+ interaction Ce4+/Ce3+ dopants promoted production oxygen vacancies, which explained result that catalytic performance in CO oxidation both was better than single dopant, dopant held much advantage towards pure CeO2.
