摘要: Effect of intramuscular administration pethidine on cardiovascular and endocrine functions were studied as judged by cardiac variables plasma hormone levels in dogs under 1% enflurane anesthesia. Twenty-four mongrel divided into three groups. Seven receiving physiological saline only served the control group. Pethidine 2 mg.kg-1 was given to each nine (2 group), remaining eight 6 drug administered (6 group). Swan-Ganz catheter used for measurement such central venous pressure, output, pulmonary capillary wedge pressure etc. In group, mean arterial heart rate index decreased significantly, but no significant changes observed Plasma cortisol ACTH significantly group tended decrease No catecholamines, aldosterone, renin activity, antidiuretic insulin both These findings suggest that anesthesia would depress more than also adrenocortical function.
