摘要: Recently there has been considerable interest in the study of helium films adsorbed on graphite. For coverages first monolayer early specific heat (1) and NMR measurements (2) gave a consistent rather detailed picture adatom behavior. Recent results (3), however, have indicated that situation with respect to may be somewhat more complex than originally envisioned. In hopes gaining greater insight into this problem are here reviewed particular attention given experimental details.
