摘要: AIM: To evaluate the anti-HIV activities of extracts from two commonly forms Pu-erh tea (fermented), green tea-like (unfermented). METHODS: The cytotoxicities on C8166, MT4 and PBMC were assessed by MTT evaluated syncytium reduction p24 antigen assay. RESULTS: All had low with CC50 120.63 to 524.95 mu g.mL(-1). can inhibit HIV-induced cytopathic effects, EC50 various 11.13 67.49 WEPT's better than EEPTs, moreover FPT's water GTLPT's especially YYP-31 SI value 42.40. also inhibited HIV-1(RF) HIV-2(CBL-20) infection 30.82 39.79 g.mL(-1), respectively. reduced expression in HIV-1(IIIB) acute infected C8166 HIV-1(KM018) values 14.95 74.63 blocked fusion between normal cells HIV-1 chronically H9 234.27 It exhibits markedly synergistic activity combination AZT but can't reverse transcriptase. CONCLUSION: exhibit highly efficient anti-HIV-1 be considered used as a complementary therapy or health product HIV patients.
