摘要: A method of making a tobacco substitute material is disclosed which involves the use fibrous woodpulp contains at least 90 percent alpha cellulose. The selected wood pulp high cellulose count lightly beaten to Canadian Standard Freeness between 400-700 ml. and then combined with nontoxic combustion modifier formed into sheet having density 12-35 lbs./ft.3. modifiers useable are potassium, sodium magnesium sulphates, potassium chlorides, sodium, ammonium carbonates bicarbonates, nitrate, ferric oxide, hydroxide, alumina, gluconate, citrate, citrate acetate gluconic acid. metallic compounds utilized preferably used in their hydrated form.
