摘要: Habitat fragmentation increases the temporal variability in species richness and abundance of forest birds. Therefore, changes ecological interactions at which birds are engaged might be transient. Furthermore, despite insectivory rates have cascading effects if such permanent, there no evaluations persistency rates. In this study, we assessed fragments, comparing intensity upon artificial insect larvae three different years a single site central Chile. coastal Maulino forest, is persistently higher fragments compared to continuous forest. An increase reduce herbivorous translated into growth seedlings factor that changing dynamics. Our study suggests variation bird on fragmented permanent phenomenon, profound implication for dynamics remnants.
