摘要: The present invention discloses a receiver for optical system, which provides improved performance due to implementation of multiple parallel analog-to-digital converters. Such configuration allows reducing the data speed processing thus improving bit-error-rate. Each channel WDM communications system consists set orthogonal spectral bands. These bands are modulated via frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technique using M-PSK modulation format. At side, incoming beam is split into branches. branch mixed with local oscillator having spectrum within one sub-band channel. In preferred embodiment these beams in 90-degrees hybrid, followed by balanced photodetectors. baseband each signal converted digital ADC. This series lower-speed ADCs working instead high-speed ADC recovery from signal.
