摘要: The bipolar behavior of an arbitrary finite assemblage spherical particles in electrolytic cell is considered. are allowed to differ radius, electric conductivity, and electrochemical properties. A linear polarized electrode kinetics assumed for the reaction occurring at particle surfaces. Using a boundary collocation technique, governing equations electrical potential field solved, interaction effects among calculated various cases. current enhancement factor increased or decreased by presence second neighboring particle, depending on relative conductivities with respect surrounding medium, parameters, orientation particles. between can be significant when distance surfaces approaches zero. influence interactions stronger smaller than larger one. factors chains three spheres have been calculated, showing that existence third enhance two‐particle effect significantly. Finally, our numerical results two used find volume fractions each type effective conductivity dilute dispersion.
